This is an original 8" x8" oil painting inspired by loneliness. Specifically, the loneliness I feel when I think of my home and what I've missed since I moved away. I'm still surrounded by a beautiful landscape, but it feels hard to appreciate it. I miss seeing beautiful things with the beautiful people who first introduced me to nature.
